Can we get more details on items in change logs versus terse one liner checkin commments

It is possible to get something beyond one line comments for changes in the driver.

For example, if you read https://github.com/aws/amazon-redshift-jdbc-driver/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md, you would see entries such as following. For example, what does "support x" mean at a high level, is it the first time "x" can be used with an Amazon Redshift driver, is it an improvement over that prior versions of the driver might have supported.
