Which Specific Feature is your question related to?

UI Library

Question

I have set up a complete amplify project with Angular UI framework. But it automatically switched to react.
I tried to setup with a new project with Amplify CLI and selected "angular".

And again - in Amplify Studio I see react and no option to change it to angular.

Please help how can I work with angular framework in Amplify Studio.

Hey @mat-b, thank you for reaching out. Wanted to get some additional information on the code generation being referred here. Are you referring to the API codegen models/types or the figma to code component generation?
If you are referring to figma to code component generation, Amplify Studio UI Library currently does not support Angular framework, but you should be able to work with other resources such as API, auth and storage categories.

Additionally, curious on this behavior: it automatically switched to react. In your local Amplify folder, under .config folder-> project-config.json do you observe the framework attribute set to angular.
Do note the .config may be hidden in your project directory under .vscode -> settings.json. set the amplify/.config as false.

Thank you for your answer.
I was referring to Amplify Studio.
I went through a couple of guides to set up full stack project and there was always a selection of UI Frameworks and on the other hand I saw Studio with very nice feature of UI components design. So I was just unaware that that Amplify has different level of support for React, Angular and Vue.
Thank you for clarifying this.

BTW. I was looking for a tool that can quickly set up simple web app with with basic user authentication and simple GUI. If you know about better AWS tool for it, I am open for any comments.

Closing as it was clarified that currently Amp Studio supports UI code generation only for React.
Thank you
