I followed the README instruction and try the run following sqlite command:
sqlite3
SQLite version 3.28.0 2019-04-15 14:49:49
Enter ".help" for usage hints.
Connected to a transient in-memory database.
Use ".open FILENAME" to reopen on a persistent database.
sqlite> .load .build/reqlite.so
Error: unknown command or invalid arguments: "load". Enter ".help" for help
The .load command doesn't exist. May I know which version of SQLite did you use?
Here's my test environment details:
Installed SQLite3 using brew on MacOS
Verified if.load command exist or not by running the below CLI:

Hi @ajeetraina - evidently the SQLite that comes on macs does not allow loading runtime extensions (and so .load is unavailable), but I see you installed via homebrew. Are you sure you're using the CLI binary installed by the brew command? (I see in the output above SQLite version 3.28.0 2019-04-15 14:49:49 which suggests maybe it's using the SQLite shipped on your mac, as it's an older version) See here for some more context: https://www.cafe-encounter.net/p3244/installing-and-using-sqlite-extensions-on-macos-and-maybe-windows-linux-too
Homebrew may not be overriding the sqlite3 command in your path since it already exists when it installs, try running which sqlite3 to see what binary is actually being used when you run the sqlite3 command to see if that helps?
