Command sdcard.img Failed to write pages

I am trying to write the SD on the sama5d27-som1-ek and it fails

$ ./sam-ba --port serial:ttyACM0 --board sama5d27-som1-ek -a sdmmc:0:1 -c write:../../buildroot-2019.08/output/images/sdcard.img

In order to have extra insight, would you retry with the latest SAM-BA (3.3) and issue the following:
sam-ba -p serial:ttyACM0 -b sama5d27-som1-ek -a internalrc
sam-ba -p serial:ttyACM0 -b sama5d27-som1-ek -t 5 -a sdmmc -c write:../../buildroot-2019.08/output/images/sdcard.img
