If the entry barrier for obtaining assistance in an urgent problem situation is as simple as possible, customer satisfaction increases. Authentication is one of the most common barriers when it comes to access to IT systems. This issue aims to document why no authentication is foreseen for the Assistify Support form for the time being.

Pro Auth

  • The sender of the support form can be used directly as the sender of the first message.
  • Thereby notifications will be sent automatically and the discussion in Assistify reflects the "real" information.
  • Private groups can be selected as parent channels for a support issue/discussion.

Contra Auth

  • At the first time a customer/user wants to create a support issue, he needs to create a user before
  • If the support form does not support SSO mechanisms
  • Before submitting a new issue, the user needs to be logged in.
