Only make specific entities available in the GUI

Use case: I'd like to create a tool to allow my wife to control the schedules of her various plant grow lights. Currently, she wont use Scheduler because there's too "too much random stuff" in the GUI dropdown, even when I down select for only the "lights" domain. i have about 100 lights and only 20 of them are plant lights.

I so would love some way to select (presumably in settings) an arbitrary list of entities that Scheduler would make available in the GUI.
