In previous releases of CB, the playback stream automatically chose HD instead of SD. the SD quality is pretty bad for a number of videos in our setup, so we would prefer that HD is chosen automatically and users can then choose to downgrade playback quality if needed. Perhaps there is a setting I am missing if so I apologize! I searched Github issues and google for a solution, but was unable to find anything relevant.
Another point that this issue has brought up is that the settings cogwheel icon does not tell users that it is playback quality that is being adjusted, another icon would be advisable here. I think this could also be another potential solution to this issue as well which is what I am adding it to the same issue. I have had a number of people complain about the quality of the videos and did not realize that they could change the resolution. perhaps an overlay on the icon listing either the resolution or SD or HD as relevant would help users to see that it is the resolution which is being changed.
