What happened?

I always have a very hard time determining what tag or branch is the current stable (frozen) release of Armbian to build off from, what stability to expect from main and what versions are still buildable. Can you tell me where to find that information (at least the currect stable branch/tag)?

Thanks for your work :)

How to reproduce?

not relevant

Branch

main (main development branch)

On which host OS are you running the build script and observing this problem?

Debian 12 Bookworm

Are you building on Windows WSL2?

  • Yes, my Ubuntu/Debian/OtherOS is running on WSL2

Ah sorry, I missed the following in the Readme:

For stable branch use --branch=v24.05

However, I think this information is outdated? According your response to some issue, 24.08 is frozen now (while 24.05 has build issues)
