Try to have the original designer from e-lance produce assets for the app which match the criteria described Apple Human Interface Guidelines

The asset we have below will work well for the splash screen, it just needs to be resized:

We will need a transparent PNG icon (sized appropriately) based on the above. The JPG version is not going to be suitable for this purpose.

Email [email protected] w/ the adobe illustrator file and I will take care of getting it for you.
