Busybox crashes p2pcam

I've got an issue where installing the read-only hack seems to crash the p2pcam app every few minutes. It's practically impossible to use the cam (via the app or rtsp stream). Disabling the debug_cmd.sh script (while leaving the readonly hack files on the SD card) makes the camera stable & usable again. This happens even when disabling the hosts hack & all of the custom services (http, ssh, ftp), so I'm guessing this is probably due to busybox.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Perhaps there's a bug or incompatibility in the busybox binary that's being used for the hack?
