"Mark Episode as Watched" button does not save in watch history #1873

Steps to reproduce

  1. Navigate to a series or episode page.
  2. Click on the "Mark Episode as Watched" button without playing the video.
  3. Check the watch history to see if the episode is marked as watched.

Expected behavior

When the "Mark Episode as Watched" button is clicked, the episode should immediately be saved in the watch history as fully watched, even without playing the video.

Actual behavior

The episode is not saved or reflected in the watch history unless the video is played.
