BUG: Lots of Error due to incorrect bookmark implementation in GSoC Page

What happened?

Incorrect implementation of the bookmark feature in GSoC by #301 results in many bugs, even preventing the loading of GSoC projects and the project from loading.

Under this issue, I intend to fix this chain of bugs for the page, and restore the code back to original one as I had already implemented the bookmark feature in #271 .
