Scrolling causes images to 'glitch' when I have more than 10 pages piled. (On Chrome, Mac) #227

Hi. My portfolio page with pagepiling recently stopped working. It's now really glitchy (see video attached). It was working fine before, which makes me think it's to do with Chrome's last update. (There's no issue in Safari). I also tested it with the Lewis themeforest template by inspecting the code on this page. When I add more than 10 pages to the pile, it starts glitching, just like my portfolio page does.

Is there a way to stop it glitching for more than 10 pages?

Many thanks

It works as expected on my side using the latest Chrome.
Did you try from another computer?

Thanks Alvaro. I tried it on two different Macs and it works fine, but they have older versions of OS.

My issues started after I updated to the latest OS update (11.6) so I wonder if it was caused by that? Which would mean other people are also seeing the problem when viewing my site. (Or potentially any site using pagepiling) Not sure what else could be causing it. I've tried incognito tabs so it's not the extensions I have installed.

Thanks

I can't see any problems on Big Sur using Browserstack.com.
I would try your page in another computer under the same OS to see if that fails too, but it looks like this can be a problem on your computer or some configuration in your Chrome.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to reproduce the issue on my side.
As an alternative you can try changing to fullPage.js which is a much more mature and up-to-date library.

I'll probably end up making an extension for fullPage.js that provides the same pagePIling.js effect at some point 🤔
