After receiving the virtual memo hardware, I tried to test it. I downloaded the app on my Samsung S3 running Android 4.3 and was unable to get it working (no magnet found). Pressing the on/off button on the hardware causes the LEDs to blink, but nothing else happens. Then I realized that the virtual memo hardware would require Bluetooth Low Energy and this might not be supported on this phone. I loaded the app on my iPad Air and enabled Bluetooth. Bluetooth was unable to detect the memo hardware. I started the app. and now it showed a text like "MagnetUUIZMA=3". When I set a date, ask for the LEDs to blink, nothing happens. Having a description of what to expect should be helpful.

Same here.. It would be nice to know what to expect..
How does the magnet inform our devices without pairing??
Is there a moderater on this topic that can clarify the thing??

Hi there. At our blog some things are explained and in the command section there is a link to a living document. Regarding documentation, it will be great to get some help! I will make a beginning there.

Hi,
Ik ben bezig geweest met de app en de virtuele memo (gekregen van NI), en op mn telefoon werkt het niet, vast door de Bluetooth chip ofzoiets. Misschien is het handig om een lijst aan te maken welke telefoons wel en niet werken.
