Summary of development July-August 2022

• Modules 1, 2, 3, 6, 7

  • Are the ones that have been updated the most
  • All have exercises at the end (only), with solutions in "Exercise Solutions" in the book (and the solutions section in the repo)
  • Modules 1, 2, 3: Have smaller exercises that are linked back to content throughout the module. Suggest it's up to the instructor whether to leave these to the end of interleave them with teaching.
  • Modules 6, 7: Have one long exercise at the end, would be good to leave a good chunk of the teaching time for them.

• Ed also updated the setup instructions (Module 0)

• The other modules had some light updates but have not been developed much - see the issues for them for planned updates after the last delivery. As well as updating the material, the plan was to try and make all modules have exercises, and for these to be collated at the end in one place (either a large exercise or several smaller ones).

• We are part way through adding numbers for modules and sections (i.e. in the names that appear in the book menu)

• Maybe delete placeholder empty solutions notebooks before teaching so they don't appear on the web-site
