i write the resource file in coffeescript, but it compiles my resource file into .js

config.resources = {
    path: options.path,
    defaultLocale: options.defaultLocale,
    extension: '.json',
    placeholder: /\{(.*?)\}/
};

could you let the developer set the extension option?
