findAll from code, but no scrolling to first found and version numbering

Hello

is it possible to do findAll from code
without scrolling to first position
leave the cursor/view on same position
as before launch findAll

i do not understand the version numbering
at https://cdnjs.com/libraries/ace
i think 1.2.8 is newest
but there is also upto 1.9.6
