@agritheory I tried replicating this on both the development and feat-resizable-columns branch, but I wasn't able to see the bug. Can you let me know steps to replicate?

My best guess here is that the browser is finding a mismatch between the column width (defined in ch) and the resize observer (defined in px) and that's causing a recursive auto-resize as the widths change.
