This document describes how to submit videos to the Anthology so that they can be displayed on the paper pages, like this one.

Submitting videos

Ingestion is simple. You need only provide a TSV file with the following fields:

Additionally, please provide a link to a tarball, Google Drive, or Dropbox folder containing all of the video files. We need these so that we can properly archive them, in case the linked sites are decommissioned. Each file should be named as its Anthology ID, with the proper extension (e.g., 2020.acl-main.34.mp4). We support both MP4 and MOV formats for local archiving.

Please create a Github issue with links to this data.

Supported sites and formats

We currently permit linking to Slideslive, Vimeo (vimeo.com), or Youtube (YouTube.com).

Please note that at the moment (March 2021), we are unable to ingest videos for plenary talks or other recordings that are not associated with a paper. You can submit these videos for private internal archival, but we can't currently display them. We have plans in the works to add this feature, and hope to have it finished by the end of 2021.
