<h1> Índice de transformación socioespacial </h1>
<p>El ITSE registra las transformaciones socio-espaciales atípicas experimentadas en cada AGEB, por encima del promedio de las mismas transformaciones en toda la ciudad.</p>
<p> El método se basa en el desarrollo de un índice compuesto de ocho indicadores derivados de variables de los Censos de Población y Vivienda 2000 y 2010, que caracterizan los diferentes grupos sociales y espacios involucrados en los procesos de gentrificación. La escala espacial que se utilizó para el análisis de la información fueron las áreas geoestadísticas básicas (AGEB) y su relación a una escala estatal. La elaboración estuvo compuesta de cinco fases (Bournazou, 2015): </p>
<p>
1. “Identificación de las variables relevantes a la temática y desarrollo de indicadores. </br>
2. Recolección de datos secundarios y homologación de estadísticas y unidades espaciales para los años 2000 y 2010.</br>
3. Asignación de un valor a cada indicador, de acuerdo a su correlación con el fenómeno de la gentrificación.</br>
4. Construcción del índice con base en la suma de los indicadores y su puntaje.</br>
5. Elaboración, análisis e interpretación de mapas sociales, con Sistema de Información Geográfica (SIG).”
</p>
<p>La construcción de cada uno de los indicadores se basó en el cambio porcentual de la variable en un ABEG y la relación porcentual con el cambio en la ciudad. Los 8 indicadores resultantes se clasificaron en dos grandes categorías; las sociales, en las cuáles se consideró la población total, población de 0 a 4 años, población mayor a 65 años, grado promedio de escolaridad y promedio de hijos; la segunda categoría es la espacial, en la cuales se consideró el total de viviendas, promedio de habitantes por cuarto y número de viviendas con computadora. </p>
<p>Una vez calculados los indicadores, se procedió a ponderarlos en relación a la gentrificación, donde el incremento o decrecimiento significativo de cada indicador en el universo de AGEB a la ciudad se relacionó de manera positiva o negativa al proceso de gentrificación con los siguientes supuestos: </p>
<p>
1. El incremento de la Población total puede indicar auge inmobiliario y tendencia de gentrificación. (Positiva: +1) </br>
