Missing: Ability to encrypt/decrypt files on-the-fly when uploading/downloading files from OneDrive ?

All traffic between the client is encrypted in transit:

You can validate this yourself by using --verbose --verbose --debug-https

This 'missing' item you are concerned about is file / folder encryption so that encrypted data is stored on OneDrive and is discussed in detail here: #1023
