Different kinds of lists for different purposes:

Personal, private shopping list

for folks to record things they need to buy, or for items you don't want to share with others
no onboarding
focused on ideas and products (links)
can be made collaborative with plan members

Personal wish list:

ideas for others who are buying for you. Meant for public consumption.
onboarding: setup questions (Starter questions #127 )

Personal idea list:

gift ideas you have for someone else. Can be linked to their public wish list (Linked public list #128 )
can theoretically be shared/collaborative
can source items from the 'target' via a special link to onboarding questions (Share-and-add flow #130)

Initial app empty state / onboarding:

Choose between list type cards, with a description of each.
