This is a web scraping program in Python to download all the recently released “Announcements and Notices” field from the HKEX news website (https://www1.hkexnews.hk/search/titlesearch.xhtml?lang=en) to a mysql database.
The DatabaseManager class is extensible and could manage mysql databases.
HKEXNews.sql are examples of our scraped data.
