How to create draft order with many line item properties correctly and quickly by utilizing abandoned checkout

This tutorial is especially useful if you are taking orders from the phone or at an event onsite.

Some of your products might have specific line item properties (eg: a dropdown with preset values on your product page), and you want to ensure no human error when inputting line item properties (both name and values) in the Draft Order Helper app.

To facilitate this, you can utilize abandoned checkout.

Go to your store, and add the items to cart like how a normal customer does, and fill / select the line item properties you want :

Then initiate checkout, but stop at the shipping method selection page :

Then go to your Shopify Admin > Abandoned Checkout, and select the checkout which you have initiated previously:

Then select 'More actions' > 'Create draft order'

Wait a few seconds, and you will be redirected to the newly created draft order with all the line item properties you have added! 🎉
