the amiibos work in games, but if i try to go to system settings to change the nickname/owner it does not detect the emuiibo and also it doesnt detect if i try to change the nickname/owner in smash

It also does not save any of my progress on the smash amiibo... Useless

You Really hasn't read the instructions:

Emuiibo is not designed to intercept the HOS if you want to change the mii owner you should follow the instructions:

If you emulated amiibo has random UUID the progress is saved but can't be loaded later:

be sure you are using a NOT random UUID amiibo for Smash

for support please go to a support channel, if you find a really bug or issue com here, seek if is already reported, if not create a new one with all pertinent information.

how do i disable the uuid randomizer? and what support channel? is there a discord?

oh well it looks like amiigo was automatically randomizing it.. i used emutool and it worked! still sad i wasted all my time leveling up the mario amiibo to level 50.. now i gotta do it again

nvm it didnt work its still resetting it back to level 1

dont do that, people will get to you when they have time. this is a free project so people usually are working on it in their spare time
