Documentation problem, "How to install on IOS"

it says:

Replace the example/ios/Runner/AppDelegate.m line with ${PROJECT_ROOT}/ios/Runner/AppDelegate.m. (Notice: You should merge the old one in your project to merge with the new from this plugin if you have some change on that file)

Replace what "line"? I copied entire file instead, but the plugin still doesnt work on IOS.

Don't hold your breath, there's a five-month old issue regarding this same problem. The last commit here was 6 months ago, to me it seems this project is at best tenuously maintained and at worst, abandoned. I've since installed adhara_socket_io (search the Googles for it). It works great.
