New Feature: Compare Images in Documents

You can compare documents (e.g., Word) and images, any chance you can compare the images in a Word document?

Sorry for the late reply, but if you enable the "Compare documents as HTML file (very slow)" option of the CompareMSWordFiles plugin as shown below, images contained in Word documents will be expanded into files, and you can compare them.

That worked. However, the highlighted diffs were not perfect.

That failed. It converted my Word documents into HTML instead of temporary documents. Now I have to redo them from previous iterations.

Never mind. It just changed the Word settings to Web Layout. It took me a bit to figure that out since every Word document had the same view. Phew!

On a separate note, my CompareMSWordFiles dropdown is back in the File Unpacker Plugin list. Not sure what happened. It seems that going to Web Layout then Normal view fixed it. That's the only recent change.

I think you will get what you expect if you set the following in the Editor/Compare/Merge category of the Options window.

Try disabling the Ignore numbers option.
