The latest version of PortableApp WinMerge only shows the Excel filter in the File Unpacker Plugin dropdown list even though the Plugins folder has the other Office plugins. When comparing two Word documents, the Word filter does not appear and the files are compared in binary.

The fix is to change it from Excel to Automatic and it seems to select the Word plugin. However, the Excel plugin is the only one visible.

If you click Select and open the plugin dialog box, The Word plugin is selected. Clicking Ok does not add it to the File Unpacker Plugin dropdown list.

I have not been able to reproduce this issue so far.
The reason why all plugins are not displayed may be that "Display all plugins, don't check the extension" is unchecked in the Select Plugin window.
