currently the transparent latch takes data in on the left, clock in on the bottom, and outputs the stored state both right and up; it would be nice when compacting designs if you could toggle the output mode, so it output both, only right, or only up, the way you can toggle inputs/outputs on the logic gates, as you could have wires/components directly next to the unused output sides.

Transparent latch does not use Ctrl+Click editing now so it should be easy, but some other gates like state cell would also benefit from IO swapping/disabling and they already make use of Ctrl+Click.

I think it should be done in a more or less uniform way for all gates, if at all, for example with Ctrl+RightClick (easily added with current infrastructure, if I am correct).

This sounds like a useful feature, and maybe if people somehow play with only one mouse button, alt+left click could do the same a ctrl+right click?
