Issue Description

I noticed that Vanilla OS 2 Orchid Beta doesn't see all the RAM installed on my computer. Although I have 16 GB of RAM installed, the OS only shows 14.5 GB of RAM available.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Check RAM monitoring: Open an app that monitors memory usage (like the default system monitor).
  2. Compare RAM values: Notice that the total amount of RAM available is less than the total amount of RAM installed on the computer. In my case, I have 16 GB of RAM installed, but the system only shows 14.5 GB available.
  3. Check BIOS Settings: Restart your computer and enter BIOS settings. Find the section that displays hardware information (usually labeled "Hardware" or "Information").
  4. Confirm Total RAM: Check that the total amount of RAM installed in the BIOS matches the physical amount you have (in my case it should show 16GB).

On what version of Vanilla OS this happens?

Are you using an IGPU? if so, your bios is reserving 2 gigabytes for graphics
