Mapping <Esc> to clear search highlighting, but cannot exit multiple cursor #9438

I use the following config

    "vim.normalModeKeyBindingsNonRecursive": [
      {
        "before":["<Esc>"],
        "commands": [
          ":nohl"
        ]
      }
    ],

This configuration will introduce a new issue, After adding multiple cursor with cmd+d, pressing ESC cannot exit multiple cursor

Is there a good way to solve this problem
