how do I stop it? I accidentally sent the file to the wrong person and I don't know how to stop it. Also how do I know when I get ETH

Run the uninstaller that gets created with the miner or do it manually https://github.com/UnamSanctam/SilentETHMiner/wiki#how-do-i-remove-the-miner. You can usually enter your wallet address into your pool to see statistics.
