Alien Fauna ‐ Hostile
Hostiles were added to make the game more dynamic, increase player engagement and develop more character in the game's storyline. They provide a layer of complexity to the gameplay by actively working against the player's goals. The introduction of hostiles also justifies the inclusion of weapons which adds an additional level of progression for the player. It was decided that the hostiles would all have a cute design as to preserve the warm, relaxed mood of the game.
The Oxygen Eater lives up to its name, making it critical to kill as soon as possible.
