Add a complex button combination to enable/disable gopher360 #146
Comments
I second this! Love Gopher360, it's the only app I've found that lets me control my PC with a controller which is huge because I have muscular dystrophy and can't use a keyboard and mouse. I commend you for that and wish more people in my situation knew about it However, my only issue is trying to get Steam and/or other games to work with it. To be fair I'm not the uhhh...biggest fan of Steam so maybe it's not something that can be fixed. |
I'd like to have this feature too, in xbox one you can do this, you can trigger xbox controller when you want to play a game, or you can turn back to keyboard+mouse when you prefer by pressing start+select. |
Gopher seems to be an abandoned project. It looks like features will no longer be added. |

I'm currently doing this with a workaround. So I set up autohotkey to do the complex command like open an app. I then map that hotkey to gopher360 so the button triggers whatever I programmed |
It is not possible to play a game while Gopher360 is running because there is superposition of actions. For example, pressing Start button usually means "Okay" inside a game but it also triggers the start button in windows.
So, I wonder about adding the possibility of triggering a lock/unlock functionality by pressing a very unusual combination of buttons.
