hotplugging not enabled

here is what the console outputs:

adapter 0x0x56123e5cdbf0 connected
cannot register hotplug callback, hotplugging not enabled
adapter 0x0x56123e5cdbf0 disconnected

wat do?

ok so a restart fixed part of the issue, now it connects but still says hotplugging not enabled, but when i try to play steam games, the buttons are all mixed up. Any fix available? thanks
