Running a newer version of a jail (FreeBSD 13.2) on an older host (TrueNAS 13.0 / FreeBSD 13.1) can have unexpected / unknown behavior.

You can find some workarounds here #75 or you can wait until TrueNAS updates to a FreeBSD based on 13.3+.

sooo wait then

im not that tech savy so waht is the work around to boot jelly fin downgrading?

found something that might help not sure im guessing the person is refering to the train switch to 13.3 beta?

I then subscribed to the Beta channel and got 13.3 installed and now the Jellyfin jail is running 13.3 with a successful upgrade to 10.9.2. Hopefully the beta channel doesn't give me real issues since it doesn't seem to support a downgrade to the stable channel.

Good to hear the beta train and jellyfin are working for you!
There should be a stable release of TrueNAS Core 13.3 some time this month

Is there a way to transfer the jelly fin config to another jail ?

SOLVED IT! Updated the jail IDK why it failed numerous times and i started to create another one
when i miss clicked and started the old jail and it works

also one thing what does:

Open the Edit for the jail
Navigate to the 'Jail Properties' tab
Look for the devfs_ruleset (should be the first option on the left)
Change the rulset number to 10
Save and start the jail

do?

for some odd reason if i change it to 10 it wont boot....

its do to some rule but my rule set is to usbrules=100 since im running my so on externa ssd drive

If you use a custom ruleset and want hardware acceleration you will need to either add those parameters to your custom ruleset or make another one that includes both your custom ruleset and the parameters to enable hardware acceleration
