Search within archive not working (when called via client side code)

Search within archive not working via /client.js ie. it loads if you visit url directly, but not if you search once the page has loaded.

Notice that the urls below are missing the /aa110127299/ number?

Not sure if it has always been like that, probably not what we want as the archive may be renamed, better to key on the aa110127299 (fonds) id and then append a (removable/optional) text /slug like we do on record pages.

This works:
https://collection.sciencemuseumgroup.org.uk/search/archive/science-museum-group-corporate-archive?q=masterplan

But visiting the archive itself and then searching for 'masterplan' fails.
