Expected Behavior

Changing your default playback device should not cause certain audio tracks to mute/reset.

Current Behavior

Changing your default playback device then changing it back causes the waterfall and ambient sounds to mute. It also resets the music (another different track may start to play.)

Performing the same process on the main menu causes the main menu ambient noise to mute, leaving just the gun shots and creature sounds playing.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Spawn in as a creature.
  2. Find a waterfall or place with ambient sounds playing.
  3. Tab out of the game.
  4. Change your default playback device to a speaker, then change it back to your headphones.
  5. Listen to some audio tracks cut out, while others remain.
  6. Repeat these steps on the main menu.
