I was very, very surprised not to see this issue anywhere, so perhaps I just am missing something that already exists…
Simply, I’d like the ability to add a keybind to toggle the pinned stats HUD. I like to have my totems popped, deaths, and playtime pinned for my hardcore worlds, but they take up a lot of screen real estate when you consider mods that add a paperdoll, minimap, TPS, FPS, ping, armor bar, etc.
I’d consider being able to quickly toggle HUD elements a basic feature, so again it’s surprising not to see here.
While you’re at it, if you do decide to add this feature… consider adding HUD profiles with a bind to cycle through them? That way you could have a HUD like I described above, and quickly switch to one with something like player kills and deaths, or blocks mined & placed, etc. as needed.

Also no worries, this suggestion wasn't made before. I like it a lot, and it's creative too. I'll consider implementing it in the next update (or right after it), which is likely gonna be the 1.21.2 port once 1.21.2 comes out.

- Added a key-binding that allows you to toggle the stats HUD screen visibility. See #141.
I have implemented a feature that allows one to toggle the HUD screen using any key of their choice. Simply navigate to controls settings, and set the key-binding to whichever key you prefer, and that can then be used to hide/show the stats HUD screen.
As for HUD profiles, if I do decide to work on that as well, it'd require a lot more extra work. We'll see.
