OpenRoad gui: change background color

Hi,
when I open a odb file with openroad -gui, I have a white background color and it is difficult to see ruler values or cell highlight. How is it possible to set the backgroung to black?

The background is normally black and there is no setting for it. I've seen a small number of people reporting white. Can you give more details of your setup?

I'm working on VNC session. The server has RedHat 8 with gnome. CPU=Xeon Gold 5317.

Currently in Centos7 GCP machine i have white background.
Few months back only, with GUI updates in OpenROAD commits, it turned into white and not able to revert back to black.

I believe this should be fixed with The-OpenROAD-Project/OpenROAD#4126. Please update and try again.

No. Wouldn't you run into the problems above?

Thank you for your response! I’d like to embed images on my website. The black background of the image contrasts too much with the white background of my site. I’ve used KLayout because it has a white background, but I prefer OpenROAD because i can hide std cells, layers etc..
