Autumnal Woods
Summer's always a bit hot, winter a bit cold. Spring spells nothing but allergies. You know what that leaves? Autumn. The Autumnal Woods got the memo and are autumn all year long!
The Autumnal Woods is a variety of the Forest with multiple colors of autumnal trees. The autumnal trees come in red, orange, yellow, and brown. The Autumnal Woods also feature plain old Oak trees to provide a fifth color.
The Autumnal Woods generate in temperate climates and also 1/4 as frequent in cool climates. The biome generates in two parts:
- Autumnal Woods (
traverse:autumnal_woods
): The primary biome, akin to the Forest. - Autumnal Wooded Hills (
traverse:autumnal_wooded_hills
): A type of Autumnal Woods with a higher elevation, akin to the Wooded Hills.
The Autumnal Woods are similar to the Forest in terms of climate, but the fallen dead leaves on the ground gives the appearance of a yellower grass color.
The Autumnal Woods is a biome inspired by the mod Extra Biomes, the Autumn Woods, which looked like this:
