The kernel piece seems to work, but it looks like there are some ALSA and/or perm changes required. The particular USB audio device that I have has a battery, and it successfully connected to the phone (over an OTG cable) and started charging. It also provided sinks enough so that the normal outputs stopped working (automatic switch to newest?). Both Apollo and Pandora blocked on I/O and wigged out though.
Running apexqtmo 10.2.1 and have purchased a docking cable http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281285970609 (to build my own dock with polycaprolate) ...It seems there is (still) no audio on the USB port ...I am eager to get this working ...Any clues on what permissions might need to be edited - or how I go about tweaking the ALSA settings (I assume they will be in an ini file somewhere - or is there an interface (as per linux)?)
Thanks in advance for any help :)
It might work but needs testing
