mirror mode issues

I have noticed issues with my macbook retina (sierra 10.12.5) with an external monitor in the mirror mode.

• The "configure windows" button causes the light to flash red but doesn't show a window. After clicking around in the app the "configure window" may or may not appear on the macbook screen.

• If I attempt to drag and drop the window (after it eventually appeared) onto the external monitor the app will most likely crash.

• After hibernation the app will most likely crash.
