@ghen-arvesu I'm able to rename template slugs with no problem.

Is there something unique going on with your site or the way your template is named? It looks like your template name is the same as the ID for some reason. When I create a template, it generates a name based on the template title, or if there's no title it uses no-name. I wonder why yours seems to be behaving differently. Not able to replicate the issue though.

Hey, @BenTangible, that's because I hit publish before adding a title to what I'm working on, which is why I need to rename it, but it's not letting me rename.

That's odd. When I test this on a vanilla WP install on InstaWP and I save a template without a title, the slug gets saved as no-title, no-title-2, etc. And then I can edit that slug without any issues. I wonder if there's something unique going on with your site that we'll need to identify before Eliot is able to replicate and troubleshoot this.

I couldn't see the issue either. I tested a few variations, like publish before adding a title, and post slug with only numbers, but it's working on my end.

@ghen-arvesu Maybe could you try installing the newest Template System (zip download) and see if the issue still happens? If so, it could be something site-specific, or something is different about that specific post.
