(Pause screen has to be enabled) Tools -> Cheats -> Cheat Finder -> Check "Automatically pause game when this window is active" and you will see that the pause screen begins to flicker
when the pause screen is enabled and you enable "Pause when in: Debugging tools" and open a debugging window like "APU Viewer", the game pauses without pause screen.
when "automatically hide menu" bar is enabled and you open the menu via mouse hover, the bottom starts to flicker.
you can record a movie even though the emulator pauses
when the emulator pauses and you start a movie file (via tools -> movies -> play), it doesn't disable pause automatically.
when the emulator pauses and you double-click on the window, the video size doesn't scale (I think the pause screen has to be enabled, but it doesn't always appear).
you can highlight this "stop" button and it gets blue even though no movie is playing/recording. And if you record something, "record" and "start" button is not disabled as well and you can highlight them (sort of, it flickers).
missing (well they are there, but maybe not linked?) language strings in the resources..xml data. "top, "left", "right", "bottom" of the game-specific overscan setting (the general overscan settings is translated). Some strings related to the explorer when you want to export/import a palette. Example: "Palette Files (.pal)". and this not linked either:
