One thing that would be useful would be to find out of the lib has been included in a project so you can use "#if". It doesnt seem to work as the name as a "-" in it, ie, "#if haxe-gif" doesnt work. Other "#if"s function fine with the lib name.

If i add an include.xml file to your project with this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<project>
    <haxedef name="haxegif" />
</project>

Then i can use #if haxegif
