Who is the bug affecting?

Administrators

What is affected by this bug?

Deployment

When does this occur?

Every time we open the Lightning Record Page to edit something, the "Custom Data Provider" value drops off preventing us from Saving any changes or deploying the page into other environments.

Where on the platform does it happen?

In the Lightning Page Builder and Change Sets

How do we replicate the issue?

Put a Graph on your Lightning Record page, set up the graphs providing "-- null --" value into the "Custom Data Provider". When saved it works fine, but next time you come back to the builder (or refreshing the page) those values drop off, preventing further saving until the values are put back in. There is no work-around for deployment.

Expected behavior (i.e. solution)

The value should stay saved in the "Custom Data Provider" Field

Hi @LiborMor - we've haved a look and we haven't found out anything in the package... our hypothesis is that it's potentially a Salesforce platform problem / deployment problem.

For your information:

We do not continue to apply fixes to this project, but we only act as code reviewers and release managers.
You're welcome to create a Pull Request with your suggested changes, that we'll review. If approved, the Pull Request will be included in the open-source (repository) version of the package. However, new changes won't be part of the Managed Package.
Hope it's clear and you understand it. Happy to see your PRs coming in the future.
Best regards,
@scolladon & @victorgz
