Hi this is Angie, a Stan developer whose short term goal is building calibration hierarchical Bayesian ODE on PySD. Long term goal is to build a user-program coflow where program consists of three packages: Vensim (functional), PySD (object), Stan (probabilistic programming language).

The aim for this collaboration of four components is to determine what is the minimum amount of variation of parameter, process, measurement that should be added on top of differential equation system for its output to be matched with the variation observed in real world data.

Evidenced by this lengthy introduction, I enjoy writing. Oh and I love movies -- simulated world full of dynamics, ruled by internal and external consistency, and driven by causal loops. But most of all, good movies it gives a "warm feeling inside as good model does" (Donella Meadows).

Hi, my name is Lagaras Stelios, i am an e-ce student in Greece and currently i am using PySD in my dissertation, a web-platform for students where they can run models and both, they and their tutors, keep track of the results. Thus, i may ask some questions in this channel and be grateful for your time and guidance.

Personally, i love playing chess, tennis and cooking!
