In order to read xlsx files the program uses the xlsread command. Unfortunately this command does not run on MAC for xlsx files.

Error using xlsread (line 251)
File contains unexpected record length. Try saving as Excel 98.

The problem was partly fixed by introduction TXT reading and parsing (any EthoVision version can export it TXT format). In addition if the program runs from MAC and the data is in EXCEL format the program throws appropriate message to the user (commit: 4ce690d).
