The output of Channel Area looks like it's including BOTH the NHDArea as well as the buffer of the flowlines in areas where NHDArea exists, adding a lot of unnecessary features.

wow! This could be a big efficiency gain...

Obviously doesn't affect tauDEM that much because it just rasterizes all the polygons. But might it affect VBET?
